Coffee Time

Not going to lie. Sometimes I have to have my coffee first thing before anything else. Though I really do try to have my hot lemon water, oil and lemon, and have coffee alongside my breakfast. Sometimes coffee is the only reason I get out of bed. So if you are like me, you can always swap the order of your morning routine or simply swap when you have your matcha and coffee. More often than not, I will have my matcha later in the day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
I will not mess with another woman’s coffee ritual. I understand that everyone likes there coffee a different way and at different times. The important thing is that you are enjoying your coffee and reaping the benefits of smoother digestion, a higher metabolism, and healthy antioxidants. Limit your overall caffeine intake to under 200 milligrams a day. I personally aim for 10-16 ounces of coffee each day.
Breakfast

breakfast is an important meal to start your day. Make sure you are eating enough to get you through the day. You should eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen, and dinner like a popper. Eating a bigger breakfast early on will help you burn food for energy and ensure you are keeping extra calories around by the end of the day. A breakfast filled with healthy fats will power your brain, prime your liver and ensure a positive attitude. Try eating an egg with your breakfast is idea as it encourages healthy hormones and brain function.
Over all, aim to eat plenty of healthy fats, lots of fruits and vegetables and steer clear of processed foods full of chemicals. Eat as close to the farm as possible.
Spring Glow Up tip: Brush and Whiten Your Teeth

A glow-up isn’t complete without focusing on your smile, as it’s one of the first things people notice. Whitening your teeth can significantly enhance your appearance and boost your confidence, giving you that dramatic change you may be seeking.
Straightening your teeth also improves aesthetics and promotes better oral hygiene, making them easier to clean and reducing the risk of cavities and gum disease.
Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are essential for maintaining your overall health. They help prevent issues before they arise and ensure your teeth and gums stay in great condition. Investing in your dental care will lead to a stunning, confident smile that enhances your overall glow-up!

Discover Your Best Scent (perfume)

Never underestimate the power of scent. Your fragrance can serve as a personal calling card. Scents are strongly connected to memories, people, and places, so when choosing the right perfume for yourself, it’s important that it reflects your personality. Take your time and be selective; not all scents work for everyone due to individual factors such as our natural pH balance, hormones, and even elements like laundry detergent, face wash, and shampoo.
Consider how you want to feel every time you wear your perfume. Do you prefer floral scents, like rose or sweet pea, or do you lean towards earthy tones, such as sandalwood or sea salt? Choose a fragrance that is calming, energizing, or soothing, as the last thing you want is to feel nauseous or trigger a migraine.
For those reasons, take your time and try to go for something made from natural ingredients or essential oils. Your body does not need to be covered in chemicals.
Spring Glow Up tip: Create Goals!
Getting through life without some type of goal or plan can be a plan for disaster unless your goal is not to have a plan, but isn’t that still some type of plan?
Anyway…
Having goals can help ensure that you are making the most out of your life and that you are fitting in time to do and try everything that you want to. These goals can be as simple as learning a new skill, making head of department, graduating with a masters degree, or getting married and having kids. Regardless of how you wish to love your life, having a plan or goal board is part of this spring glow up. Of course you are welcome to create “the life plan” or you can think much smaller and think seasonally. Example; for this spring I have chosen to learn to ride horses and learn how to sew. I hope to blog more, work with my novel editor more, and be more present in my children’s lives.
Take a look at this example and have fun creating your own goals!

Drink Water and Stay Hydrated!

The doctor emphasizes its importance, your mother probably reminds you, and your best friend constantly tells you: drink your water! It’s crucial to aim for about 90 ounces every single day to stay properly hydrated.
One effective way to ensure you’re meeting your hydration goals is by staying active. Physical activity not only boosts your overall health but also increases your thirst, making it easier to drink water. When you engage in exercise—whether it’s a brisk walk, a fun workout, or playing your favorite sports—you’re more likely to crave refreshing hydration.
In addition to plain water, you can incorporate other hydrating options into your routine. Drinking hot lemon water in the morning can kick-start your day, while daily greens and reds superfoods offer vital nutrients and hydration. Adding collagen powders to your smoothies or baked goods can also help support your skin and joint health, while sipping on herbal teas throughout the day provides a flavorful way to increase your fluid intake.
Spring Glow Up tip: 10K daily steps

I’m not sure who started the 10k steps a day challenge, or why exactly 10k. However, I know that it’s a great goal to have and not entirely unachievable so long as you keep active and constantly moving throughout the day. Just for the heck of it, I bought a smart watch that pairs with my android phone just to keep track of how many steps I do in a day. I knew I was walking a lot, but walking 18-19k steps a day? Insane!
I tell you this to motivate you. Even though 10k steps seems like a really big number, as long as you are active and moving about all day, it is easier than you think to obtain.
Walking is one of those things everybody should be doing. This simple low impact exercise has proven to benefit your overall health and wellness and help a person to live a longer, healthier active lifestyle. Aim to walk outdoors for at least 30 minutes each day as s minimum.
Read for 40 minutes every day!

For this spring glow-up, we are becoming avid readers. Whether you choose to read to learn or for fun, both options are great! Reading has numerous benefits that extend beyond just school-aged children. Reading more frequently can improve your vocabulary, enhance cognitive function, boost memory, and develop creative thinking skills. Additionally, reading helps to reduce stress.
So, why is reading an important part of this glow-up? Interesting people have engaging things to talk about, whether it’s the latest true crime bestseller, a nonfiction book on a topic of your choice, or a fun fictional story that you can’t wait to discuss.
Your spring glow-up will encompass more than just your outward appearance. We are focusing on enhancing your overall presence in the world. When you feel beautiful, smart, healthy, and well-read, you become more balanced and knowledgeable. All of these qualities contribute to a more empowered you.

There’s truly no better moment than now to take the initiative—consider booking a class online, reaching out to a friend who shares a hobby, or even diving into online tutorials. Engaging with others who are passionate about a similar interest can provide both motivation and a sense of community. Eat the Rainbow

Embrace a vibrant and colorful diet, ladies. I’m not referring to a certain candy, but rather to a diverse array of fruits and vegetables that can enhance your health and well-being. Aim to include at least three different types of vegetables with every meal; this not only adds variety but also ensures you get a wide range of essential nutrients.
For breakfast, consider incorporating fruits such as berries, bananas, or citrus to kickstart your day with energy and vital vitamins. You can add fruit to yogurt, blend it into smoothies, or enjoy it on its own.
As a dessert option, opt for fresh fruit instead of processed sweets. Try a fruit salad, baked apples with cinnamon, or a refreshing sorbet made from pureed fruit. By making these simple choices, you’ll not only improve your meals but also enjoy the health benefits of eating the rainbow!Embrace a colorful diet, ladies. I’m not referring to a certain candy, but rather to a diverse array of fruits and vegetables. Aim to include three different types of vegetables with every meal. Have fruit for breakfast and also as dessert.
Take Supplements

Incorporate your daily supplements into your routine, as they can have a profound and positive impact on both your health and appearance. Consider including collagen supplements, which are known to support skin elasticity and joint health. Collagen helps to maintain the structural integrity of your skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while also promoting stronger joints and connective tissues, which is especially beneficial as you age.
In addition to collagen, think about integrating daily greens or reds into your diet. These powdered supplements are rich in essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants derived from a variety of fruits and vegetables. They can help bridge the gap if you’re not consuming the recommended servings of produce daily, boosting your immune system and supporting overall wellness. Ingredients like spinach, kale, and spirulina are packed with nutrients that can enhance energy levels, improve digestion, and promote clearer skin.
Another important supplement to consider is digestive enzymes. These enzymes play a critical role in breaking down food, making nutrients more accessible for absorption. By improving your digestion, digestive enzymes can help alleviate bloating or discomfort after meals, allowing you to feel more energized and comfortable throughout your day. This increased efficiency in digestion can also enhance your overall metabolic function.
By making these supplements a regular part of your diet, you can enhance your vitality, radiance, and overall well-being. Remember that consistency is key—over time, you may find that not only do you feel more energized, but your skin looks healthier, your joints feel more comfortable, and your general wellness improves. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting new supplements to ensure they align with your health needs and goals.
